I’m Meytee, avisual artist and Master’s student in Media Design, currently based in Germany.

I create images the way some people keep diaries.

My practice begins with small things a forgotten object, a childhood memory, the texture of an old fabric, a fruit left on a table, or the quiet presence of an empty room. These fragments become the starting point for visual stories that drift between reality and imagination.

Working across illustration, photography, performance, digital media, and moving image, I explore the emotional lives of objects and the fragile relationship between memory, identity, and place. Rather than searching for perfection, I am drawn to moments that feel honest, vulnerable, and quietly surreal.

Playfulness often exists beside melancholy in my work. Nostalgia isn’t something I try to recreate it’s something I question, reshape, and sometimes invent.

I believe every object carries a memory, and every image can become a place where reality and imagination briefly meet.

For me, art is less about giving answers and more about creating spaces where people can slow down, observe, remember, and imagine.
